Dr. Namitha Uma Dwarakanath, a graduate of Tbilisi State Medical University, Republic of Georgia, has had experience serving in government and private healthcare institutions across India and Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa. Driven by her lifelong aspiration to uplift and support underserved communities, she decided to pursue training in the United States, combining her passion with exceptional education to make a meaningful difference. Dr. Dwarakanath finds joy in exploring diverse cultures through travel, in fitness activities, reading books and learning languages. Her decision to join Crestwood was influenced by the faculty’s stellar mentorship and program’s holistic approach to medical education. She was particularly impressed by the residency’s dedication to patient welfare and comprehensive physician training. She foresees a future with Crestwood enriched by academic pursuits and research advancements aimed at enhancing healthcare access and quality for the people of Alabama.
